Terms and Conditions

*The following promotion starts from 3 October, 2019 to 31 January, 2020 (both dates inclusive) ("Promotion Period"). This Promotion will be carried out in 4 phases during the Promotion Period (each a "Phase") as set out below:

    Phase 1 3 October, 2019 – 31 October, 2019
    Phase 2 1 November, 2019 – 30 November, 2019
    Phase 3 1 December, 2019 – 31 December, 2019
    Phase 4 1 January, 2020 – 31 January, 2020

  1. Up to HK$100 Tap & Go Stored Value Rebates ("Promotion") – Customers ("Customers") of Tap & Go Payment Service ("Tap & Go") who uploaded a copy of a valid identity document can enjoy HK$25 Tap & Go stored value rebate ("Rebate") if they use Tap & Go Mastercard or Tap & Go UnionPay to settle payment with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Huawei Pay upon a single net purchase of HK$250 or above ("Eligible Purchase") at any local or overseas merchants (including those in China and Macau) accepting Apple Pay, Google Pay or Huawei Pay (collectively, "Merchants") during the Promotion Period. Each Customer (counted by valid identification document number) can enjoy this Rebate once in respect of each Phase of Promotion Period, and maximum four (4) times across the whole Promotion Period. The Eligible Purchase shall be subject to the exchange rate on the day of settlement.
  2. This Rebate will be automatically credited to Tap & Go Mastercard or Tap & Go UnionPay account of Customers which used for the Eligible Purchase, within 1 month after the end of the Phase of Promotion Period during which the Eligible Purchase is made.
  3. In respect of each Phase of the Promotion Period, this Rebate is applicable to first 1,000 Customers, available on a first-come-first-served basis.
  4. This Rebate is not applicable to any purchase of Club Sim service and all its related services, and any bill payment for the fixed line services provided by Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited, 1O1O/csl. mobile services, NETVIGATOR broadband services and Now TV services.
  5. Customers must have a valid Tap & Go Mastercard or Tap & Go UnionPay account to receive this Rebate. Otherwise, this Rebate will be cancelled without notice.
  6. This Rebate cannot be used in exchange for cash, gift, service or discount.
  7. This Rebate will be forfeited if Customers cancel the Eligible Purchase or apply for refund of the Eligible Purchase from the Merchants.
  8. HKT Payment Limited ("HKT Payment") accepts no liability for the quality of or any other matters relating to the goods, products and/or services provided by the Merchants. The Merchants are solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to its provision of goods, products and/or services.
  9. HKT Payment reserves the right to vary or cancel the Promotion and/or amend or alter these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event of any disputes, the decision of HKT Payment shall be final and conclusive. Tap & Go is subject to its relevant terms and conditions.   10. In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version will prevail.
